Released in April 2017 Air Jordan 4 Retro Cool Grey x KAWS is the result of an exciting collaboration between the Jordan brand and Brooklyn based street artists KAWS, a.k.a Brian Donnelly. After previous successful team-ups between the two on Air Force and Air Max 90 projects, it can be of no surprise that this shoe is a well-crafted masterpiece. Removing the silhouettes traditional plastic accents in favour of an entire premium grey suede finish sets this creation apart from other Jordan 4’s. This shoe was released alongside a small capsule collection that included a coaches jacket, hoodie, t-shirt, and hat. The hype was so intense for this release that the in-store raffle at Patta in London was read the riot act by the police and trainer enthusiasts hacked into Donnelly’s website for a chance at the drop.
