Description
Adizero Adios Pro 5, the latest version of the model, brings some important updates to the performance tennis that gained fame when Dennis Kimmeto broke the marathon world record in 2014 using the Adios 3.
The Adios 5 features the new Lighstrike midsole technology in combination with the traditional Boost, which promotes a different racing feel than the last two editions of the model.
The heel region has a higher concentration of Boost foam to try to absorb the impact of corridors that land with the heel and offer a soft step.
Athletes who run by stepping on the middle or front of the foot will experience a slightly firmer beat, but without the very quick response characteristic of Adios 3 and 4.
Like other low-profile performance shoes, this model is suitable for athletes with good running mechanics and medium or low body mass, for speed and short- or long-distance training.
The sole of the Adios 5 has a new design, but retains the rubber composition of the Continental tire brand in the forefoot area and AdiWear in the heel – keeping the grip seen in the previous edition.
